Does the hole in the glass where the pins go through need to be oversized to allow for expansion and contraction similar to the gap you leave between glass panels?

What i like about Viewrail is that i ordered $7,000 of rail system for an ocean front deck. 4 weeks later the posts, cable, and accessories came. All the accessories were for the wrong system, the "trim washers" for the post openings were short by 180 washers. They said that the right parts would be shipped overnight. 7 days later they arrive with only 160 washers missing. I gave up with Viewrail and finished the order through another supplier. Thats what i think of viewrail.

What a bizarre advertisement, clearly whoever made the slogan doesn't know anyone who is disabled.

BEWARE! My sales person was very attentive. I received an itemized quotation very promptly. I was required to pay for the system up front. After payment, the project was sent to their engineering department. Upon receipt of the engineered system drawings, my client wanted to alter the design to keep the existing newel posts, which complimented the aesthetics of the house visually. The engineer made the necessary changes which dramatically reduced the number of new posts and eliminated much of the top hand rails. I was expecting a reconciliation of the project costs at this point. Finally, I asked my engineer when they would reconcile my order. He said the sales department would handle that. After several weeks went by, I reached out to the original sales person and discovered he did not know about any changes. He promised to discuss our account with his supervisor. No response. The cable system arrived with a detailed manifest of parts. I was frustrated and sent the manifest and the original estimate to my sales person requesting it be reconciled and a refund immediately. No response. I called my sales person again, he said his supervisor was at a trade show but he would have him call me to get this rectified. No response. Today I called and let the operator know I wanted to discuss our account with the supervisor. She forwarded me to the original sales person's voicemail! I called back, the person answering this time, tracked down the supervisor, said he was in an interview, and he would call me back! No response. This was not a small purchase at over $28k and yet we are being ignored. An ethical company would reconciled this project without being asked and posted a refund for the price difference!

Doesnt that need a wall or floor return to be up to code? Someone may catch their clothing on it descending

Demoed my existing stairs per our contract, now you’re backing out due to increased costs? Maybe prioritize existing customers over heavy advertising to save money. Time to honor agreements, Viewrail.

Would really appreciate it if you focused on the small parts of the project and not the entire warehouse. Most of us are watching this on 7" screens. Apply the golden rule to the tiny bits, not the entire scene

Looks like your stairs are on a 45 degree angle. I have been looking for some time for handrail like this. I cant find 45 degree angled post. Do you know where I can buy ?

@Viewrail - what is the standard protocol for attachment of the 90-degree coupler, end cap and other square railing cap accessories? appears there are holes to accommodate a set screw, but no threads..
